To get the absolute color number, make a two digit hex where the row is the first digit and the column is the second digit. Rows are 0 (Dark) 1 (Medium) 2 (Light) 3 (Pastel). Columns are 0 through F. For example, Dark Green is at 04 and Medium Red is at 19.

A hex palette consists of a background color followed by 4 sets of 3 foreground colors.

Usable for Terrain-Specific Monsters or as an alternate to a palette that would reduce groupability in a different terrain.

Always usable by monsters, just beware of status white becoming tinted (so only use for minor areas if at all.)
